's-Hertogenbosch is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, founded around 1185, and boasts a city centre with a density of artisanal history rarely found elsewhere. The Verwersstraat and Postelstraat, on either side of the Sint-Jan, were traditionally streets where goldsmiths, dyers, and fine craftspeople had their place. This scale — narrow streets, small premises, much personal contact — still defines how the jewellery trade operates in Den Bosch today.
This guide includes two specialised addresses: a vintage ring specialist with an exceptional collection and fitting appointments, and a goldsmith who, in addition to their own designs, also restores antique pieces. Both operate with limited opening days or by appointment — a choice that suits the type of work and clientele they serve.
