Haarlem has a remarkably intact city centre, where golden Dutch gables, courtyards, and old silver streets are still recognisable. In the vicinity of Spekstraat and Grote Markt, goldsmiths and silversmiths were already present in the sixteenth century; since the 1990s, Frans Halsstraat and Kleine Houtstraat have seen a lively antique and vintage trade.
For lovers of vintage jewellery, Haarlem is an attractive stopover: close to Amsterdam, but with more tranquillity and more room for conversation. In autumn 2026, our own shop will also open here.
